This page is here to
help with issues you maybe having
when downloading the sermons or special
music.
Most users should be able to just click the
link and the audio should start to play within a few moments
in your media player that is associated with .mp3 files. If
you have a dial-up connection, please be patient, it could
take a bit longer. If this doesn't work, try
right-clicking the link and choose "Save as..." and
save to your hard drive. Please check out the help topics
below. If you continue having problems, please email
the webmaster and we will try to help you out.
Please read through the
Q & A section below as this may help you with an issue
you may have.
How do I associate my .mp3 files with Windows Media
Player?
We have found that for some reason most folks
using Windows Media Player to play our files have less
problems than with other players. To remedy this, associate
your mp3 files with Windows Media Player as one user below
explains. If needed, you can download the latest
version: Windows XP users, Windows Vista users.
Here is how one Windows Vista user associated
his files:
First,
Control Panel
Then,
Default Programs
Choose,
Set your default programs:
Now
choose, Windows Media Player, then click, Set this program as
default. This procedure is pretty much the same in Windows 7.
I'm having problems playing the
file with Apple Quick Time:
Try associating your .mp3 file extensions with
Windows Media Player as explained above. Or if you can get by without Apple Quick
Time, try un-installing it from your PC. We haven't found a
better fix for this yet but if we do, we will update this
section.
I'm getting a new window with "Page
Not Found".
Sometimes we add the links to the sermons page
before the sermons are fully uploaded to the server. If it's
a fairly recent sermon and you encounter this problem, we
suggesting waiting awhile and checking back a little later. If
you are still getting the same message on the same link after
a few hours, please email
us so we can double-check to make sure the link is correct
or we don't have a corrupt file.
Video
Problem update.
We were having problems with users trying to
download and/or view our videos. We recently corrected that by
uploading our videos to YouTube first and then simply embedded the code so you can still view the
videos right on
our site pages.
If you are experiencing a different technical
issue, please let us know so we can either correct it if
it's on our end or place a help topic on this page to help
both you and others. Chances are if you're having a problem,
someone else may be experiencing the same. Thanks for your
input.
